NARS New Orgasm Collection Launch | Sunway Pyramid New Boutique

We had the pleasure to attend NARS Cosmetic's NEW Limited Edition Orgasm Collection (here for more) launch few months back, in conjunction with their latest boutique addition at Sunway Pyramid! Time flew by so fast when we were having fun. The occasion was a fun one, to say the least, as they even had a NARS pink van parked at the main entrance filled with glittering yummilicious desserts and NARS beauty products for guests and customers alike to try out and snap pictures!

Time flies when you are having fun, right? That was what happened to us here, well, in some ways, and spring is almost coming to an end, to be replaced and welcomed by the hot summer. (though it feels almost summer all-year-round here from where we are) We are bidding farewell to spring with lovely shades of nudes from NARS Cosmetics today. If you have not already noticed, we love nude shades for makeup, perhaps in some ways, we play it safe quite a bit, and feel most comfortable in them. Nonetheless, you may have caught a glimpse of some other more dramatic pastel icy mint or electric blue hues from NARS Spring 2016 Nouvelle Vogue Collection.

We take on the notion that skin needs to breathe, for makeup to look natural, your skin needs to do that little peek-a-boo thing, we feel covering every imperfection is not exactly our best makeup approach, or at least, how we fancy it. Nonetheless, not everyone of us are born with perfect poreless or smooth skin, so it helps to have some base products that could even out the skin tone, making a few adjustments onto our skin surface here and there, (like blurring out some degree of imperfections) and yet, still maintain the true face that we would like to put forward. Following the opening of NARS boutique at Suria KLCC recently, we were introduced to NARS latest offering in the mascara department - its new addition to the audacious family, the new NARS Audacious Mascara and the NARS Kohliner. Here is our experience using the two items. According to NARS, this Audacious Mascara lets you take control and lose control at the same time. Building upon an already prolific line of Audacious lipstick (which we blogged about here before), it is quite a bold move for the brand to take away the rest of the mascaras and remain only this one, audacious indeed.

Full size mirrors from ceiling to the floor, spacious makeup areas, gleaming marble flooring, private makeup room tucked away at the back, large-panel flat screen displays of gorgeous makeup videos and tutorials, private collection of books and magazines of François Nars himself and an array of skincare with stunning and colourful bold makeup pieces by this iconic brand, NARS Cosmetics can do no wrong by greeting her clients local and overseas alike by having their latest flagship boutique at the heart of the city centre - Suria KLCC Shopping Mall itself.

Exactly last year today, falling for fall style was a dreamy one. This time around, we had a crush in all things earthy brown, navy blue, clean silhouettes and oversized sweater with a splash of deep champagne mixed berry tone sort of colour palette, especially for the lips in this autumn season. The face can also be super clean and chic with muted nude tones as well, for a different look and feel. 

NARS Malaysia Celebrated Its MidValley Store Opening With A Fabulous Party!

You know you would be gearing up for a great party if you received an invitation from the iconic makeup brand, NARS. We could almost imagine the crowd, the fun, the array of makeups and the drinks. That was indeed a great night, for it was the party to celebrate NARS new store opening at our Midvalley Mall here previously.

The New NARS Midvalley Boutique - A Colorful Escape

Pleasantly surprised we were that NARS have recently opened their new boutique at Midvalley KL here, after its opening of the brand's very first one at Pavilion KL last year. What could be more exciting than to celebrate this special opening with a new Christopher Kane x NARS collection at hand. We were excited to be invited to an intimate morning with NARS Malaysia recently to experience not only the new collection personally but as well as being treated to a little tour round the boutique and a simple makeover session. 

It is a quiet little space in the mall, upon entry, one will be delighted to find the usual array of NARS makeup items, filled with all sorts of colours, textures, finishing through its offerings of different iconic products. The space is well decorated and it is good enough a space for one to be indulge in the wonders of makeup and cosmetics, most definitely a makeup geek's haven.
