[Star Gazing] The British Talent And Beauty That Is Felicity Jones

The fragility of an actress rarely demands any notice until it is too heavy to bear, on screen, too subtle  not to be noticed, within the frames - a tortured soul, a loving wife, a smitten young girl, Felicity Jones plays that part of Jane Wilde Hawking to perfection in The Theory of Everything, starring opposite the equally talented Eddie Redmayne.

Actually, we fell in love with her in the other film called The Invisible Woman already. She plays a young 18-year-old actress, Nelly Ternan who fells in love with Charles Dickens (played by Ralph Fiennes). She has such an impeccable approach to acting that is almost perfectly natural and impactful, each time she appears on screen. Her beauty is very much vintage and she has that appearance of nostalgic, which is such a classic beauty that can most undeniably withstand the test of time. Her looks makes her perfect for period pieces, we feel. Of course, she has the other side of her too, if you dare to style her differently *_^

[Star Gazing] Picture Perfect Toni Garrn

There is something very attractive and endearing about this model who debuted on the runway when she was only 15, as an exclusive for the Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2008 runway show in New York. Originally form Hamburg, Germany, she then went to be featured in the designer's ad campaign. The following season, this daughter of a business woman mother and an oil refinery worker father, she again walked exclusively for Calvin Klein the following season. In the 2009 seasons alone, she walked over 60 shows for prestigious designers such as Stella McCartney, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermes, Dolce & Gabanna, Michael Kors and others.

TONI GARNN is our star gazing feature this time around.

We love her simplicity and the other side of her that can be transformed looking all so glamorous and classic. She has such sharp and perfect facial features that we believe make any photographer's dream come true to work with as she photographed exceptionally well. Doesn't she look stunning up close?

[Star Gazing] The Enigmatic Carey Mulligan

This seemingly laid back and nonchalant outlook girl started acting when she was only six and has ever since made acting her vocation. She remembered, she somehow just fell into it, naturally. We love the subdued performances of this Hollywood actress, Carey Mulligan. From her intensely emotional role in Never Let Me Go (starring opposite Keira Knightley and Andrew Garfield), the vulnerable role in Drive (playing opposite one of our favourite actors, Ryan Gosling) to the beautiful woman in The Great Gatsby (opposite heartthrob Leonardo De Caprio), Carey seems to successfully transform herself into such strong yet refined roles that it takes our breath away.

We could not help but to fall in love with her beauty. This Suffragette actress looks stunningly charming as a lady in these latest editorial for Harper's Bazaar UK, wearing designer pieces from Michael Kors, Jennifer Behr, Valentino, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel Haute Couture, Elie Saab Haute Couture and others, photographed by Alexi Lubormirski and styled by Miranda Almond. She most definitely look dreamy here (we heart all the pieces, by the way *_^)

[Star Gazing] Shin Se Kyung In Black And White for Elle Korea

Our very first impression of this young lady was way back in 2006 when she first star alongside the charming Korean heart throb Hyun Bin in the korean movie, A Millionaire's First Love... or is it? BUT hey no! On second glance, we could be SO wrong! Which our dear blogger friend, Rowena has kindly pointed out to us in her comment below, she is NOT Lee Yeon-Hee whom we initially thought she was, but mistaken her for SHIN SE KYUNG! Thanks my dear friend for pointing this out to us *_^ We have made such a big mistake. Our sincere apologies. (digging a hole to hide ourselves and secretly wishing that Shin is not reading our blog post now! Yucks)

[Star Gazing] The Shining Star That Is Kim Soo Hyun

The fever was way high but we only managed to catch it at the tail end. Has it subsided for us? Perhaps yes, perhaps not. We can't help but to notice his boyish look, his infectious smile, his cynical nuances at times, but most of all, his sunshine personality and his ability to just mesmerize you with the characters he chose to play in, be it film or Korean dramas. Bet you all know which star gazing personality we are talking about by now! Yes, the one who plays Do Min-Joon to perfection in You Who Came From The Star (My Love From The Star), actor singer model Kim Soo Hyun *_^

Kim Soo Hyun became a household name in 2011, playing a country bumpkin who turns out to be a musical genius in the teen drama Dream High. He quickly garnered the much needed stardom and attention in his other period drama piece, Moon Embracing The Sun, which was number one in its time slot when it was aired. This rising star and award-winning new comer (begged the 2012 Baeksang Arts Awards) picked up even more momentum by making his big screen debut playing alongside star-studded casts in the heist film The Thieves and eventually landed a role in his latest drama which made him a sensation, just by playing an alien who has the ability to stop time and teleport himself across time and space!

[Star Gazing] The Many Faces of Jeon Ji Hyun

We are pretty sure that you have at least heard of this recent drama, or vaguely have an impression of it by now but the one who plays this outrageous and somewhat funny Korean actress in the series is no stranger to any kdrama fans out there. Unfortunately, we personally have not really seen much of her work prior to catching the series (in an express marathon mode, mind you, within two nights, shown over at ONE!), but managed to follow this drama called My Love From The Star (official Korean website here). She is none other than the sassy Jeon Ji Hyun

Honestly, we find the female lead character Cheon Song-Yi, in the drama quite weak throughout, not much character arch (am putting on my screenwriter glasses here, talking *_^) but we do have to admit that Jeon Ji Hyun plays the role quite "brilliantly" by being, at times, crazily funny and never really take herself (and the character) too seriously to begin with. Actually, what was slightly more interesting about the drama was more of the character of the male lead, Do Min-Joon (played by the cute young actor, Kim Soo Hyun), which we shall not go into for now!

Nevertheless, this tall lady does look pretty charming and beautiful in these two separate editorials for Harper's Bazaar Korea and China. There is something very "fishy" about them that you really need to check it out at our friend, Rolala Loves' blog post here for she picked it up so sharply that we didn't even notice it in the first place.

Which version we love? We have to say both as they have a slightly different feel to them (hence we included them here. We especially love the blue and turquoise pieces worn by her.

[Star Gazing] The Cool and Gorgeous Daniel Henney

Our very first impression of this cool American-Korean hunk was way back when he acted in the Korean series, My Name Is Kim Sam Soon, playing the nice guy who could never seem to get the girl. Much later, we caught him again, playing the "Mr. Perfect" in Seducing Mr. Perfect. There is something attractive about a dude like him who is fluent in both the English and Korean language (having the good looks to go with is not a bad thing too *_^ though he needs a little more work in his acting skill).

Here's a sizzling hot editorial of Daniel Henney for Elle Korea, the February 2014 issue, seen here, together with Kim Soo Hyun (not the "alien" though, *wink wink*). We love the retro and wild west feel to the spread, yet oozes with a certain ruggedness and feminine sexiness! Pictures via couch-kimchi here.

[Star Gazing] The Natural Beauty Of Rachel McAdams

Our most vivid memory of this beautiful soul whose acting come so naturally and effortlessly for her was her memorable performance in The Notebook (2004) playing Allie, opposite the enigmatic Ryan Gosling (the affectionate Noah). It is that sort of a love story that lingers on after you have long watched it, for a long long time, that sort of story that hits right into your core and soul, and impacts you and the way you look at love and life. The deep and fulfilling love that lasts a lifetime, one that most of us yearn for, that is the beauty of such a story. Such great awesome chemistry the both of them have in the movie! You can't help but to fall in love with this on screen couple *_^

[Star Gazing] Kim Woo Bin for W Magazine Korea

Funny enough, we all (well, some of us, really) love "bad boys", in some wicked way, no? Perhaps, we "fall" for the image or representation of them on film, or even TV. Case in point, don't you love that bashful, cunning-intellectual yet somewhat naughty big bully Choi Young-do (played by the dashing Kim Woo-Bin) in the hit Korean series, The Inheritors? One can't seem to not fall for his mischief, his purposeful picking-on Cha Eun-Sang (female lead played by the girl-next-door-looking Park Shin-Hye) but yet in end end, we still forgive him for doing so?
