This is not our first-time experience with this French cosmeceuticals professional skincare brand called Novexpert Paris (here for more). In fact, we have tried out their other booster serum previously from the Vitamin C range, aptly called the Booster Serum with Vitamin C (here for more). This time around, we had a chance to give their green tea infused serum a go - Whitening Booster Serum with Green Tea Polyphenols, one that delivers anti-dark spot effectiveness. It contains EGCG, the most powerful antioxidant in green tea, up to 96% fewer dark spots in less than 2 months! Really excited about that. Here to share some of our thoughts with you.

[Review] Herlovito | Clean and natural skincare made with love
We were first approached by Herlovito with their very first clean and natural skincare product - the Original Lip Balm. We love the fact that the brand's mission is to transition and move towards a cleaner way by producing beauty products that are free from harmful ingredients. It's definitely a philosophy that is commendable. We found the 100% vegan lip balm a lovely lip care product to have. Fresh from the tube, the edges might be a little sharp on the lips but after repeat use, the smooth gliding texture and the absence of fragrance made this one a keeper, leaving the pout feeling soft and protected. Here for more.
The brand name, Herlovito was inspired by the Spanish word "lobo", which represents love. That explains the no harmful chemicals, natural and sustainable ingredients and their eco-friendly uber simple packaging.
Fast forward to 2021, the lovely people at Herlovito (here for more) came up with more beauty products, This time, it was their new Jojoba Hair Oil, Damask Rose Hydrating Mist and Tea Tree Blemish Serum. We felt the roll out of these new items were pretty timely. Let's take a look at them, shall we?

[Review] Booster With Vitamin C by Novexpert Skincare Paris
We are always intrigued by a beauty product that could possibly tackle our pigmentation and overall dullness in our complexion and improve our skin texture and radiance in general. Novexpert Paris is a skincare that was introduced to us by a friend and by works of fate, one of their best-known products eventually landed in our mailbox many moons back. We were advised to give their Vitamin C range a try, hence we received their star vitamin of anti-aging approved by dermatologist, Booster with Vitamin C serum (here for more). What really got our attention about this cosmeceuticals brand is the fact that it is 100% natural origin, hypoallergenic and ...
0% preservatives
0% parabens
0% phenoxyethanol
0% silicones
0% mineral oils
0% animal origin ingredients
0% PEG and more.
Dubbed as "my anti-aging cosmeceuticals signed by French doctors", Novexpert is a skincare brand created by a team of four French doctors who are recognised experts and researchers in the skincare industry and believe that effective anti-aging formulations should be suitable for sensitive skin as well as safe for long term use - based on medical research. In fact, certifications issued by Ecocert guarantee and highlight the best environmentally friendly and socially conscious practices, and Novexpert is one of them. Ecocert certified products contain 99% ingredients of natural origin but this French brand goes beyond that, they are 100% natural, vegan and hypoallergenic certified.
Let's talk a little about the Booster with Vitamin C Serum, shall we?

Review | Cuepido Cosmetics Simply Beautiful Pure Moisture Oil-Free SPF45 & Beauty Mist
All beautiful things come from a place with lots of love and care behind them, we believe. So, this skin-loving skincare brand is no different. If you had followed LUMINNEJ for some time, you would have noticed that we fell in love with Cuepido Cosmetics (here for more) for some time now (our crushes, naturally here and here previously) and we have always enjoyed the array of natural and organic skin freedom concept skincare and beauty products the brand offers. This time a round, we would love to share with you a little brief thoughts of the two products we received many moons back. Yes, life just got in the way and it is long overdue, nonetheless, excited to let you lovelies know more here.
All Cuepido products are formulated without Paraben, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sulphates and Gluten, which is such a comfort to know. In today's world, we are already overloaded with enough harmful chemicals, knowing what we consume or put on our skin is gentle yet effective is most definitely rewarding. Read more about the brand here.

Astalift Hi Tea With Nana Mahazan | A Refreshingly Uplifting Afternoon
Photogenic Beauty, that is the core belief of this Japanese skincare and beauty brand, an extension from its original photo-film-centric business brand, FUJIFILM. Yes, we are talking about a beauty brand called ASTALIFT (here for more). This innovative beauty brand aims to achieve 'Photogenic Beauty' that is projecting beauty from an inner shine that gives the woman a strong presence, glowing from within.
We had the pleasure of attending a private media hi tea session with local celebrity, Ms. Nana Mahazan at the exquisite Enchan-Thé Japon, Salon De Thé, Isetan Japan Store, Lot 10 previously. It was an eye opener sharing session, finally getting to understand a little more the technology behind the beauty brand and how various technological assets such as those on collagen and nanoparticle formulation fostered through the photographic business of Fujifilm were adapted to cosmetics and other new business fields via Astalift.

[Review] Mamonde Floral Hydro Ampoule Toner & Cream | A Splashing Beautiful Time
We were absolutely enthralled to receive a special package from one of our favourite Korean beauty brands, Mamonde some time back. Comes in a soft baby pastel blue box, upon revealed, we found the most beautifully designed package of a super duo - the brand's latest and new addition to the line of K Beauty skin-friendly skincare range, the Mamonde Floral Hydro line and the duo are Floral Hydro Ampoule Toner and Floral Hydro Cream. We could not contain our excitement as they looked really delicious when we did our photography work with them. Let's dig in, shall we?
Through Mamonde's dedicated research into harnessing the power of flowers, the botanists at Mamonde have carefully selected two types of the Narcissus which showed the highest content of moisturising ingredients after studying 45 types of the Narcissus planted in Mamonde Garden, to develop the NEW Floral Hydro Range - the Dutch Master and the Multivoltine which possess the highest Moisture Storage Power and Moisture Circulation Power respectively. The active ingredients containing precious moisturising essence found deep inside these Narcissus bulbs were carefully extracted at room temperature via "Mamonde Natural Juice Extraction Method" to preserve all the natural goodness from this flower that has a long blooming period of over 80 days after it blooms in the early spring due to its water storage capacity that fills up the bulb with water, hence longer life span even during the dry season or winter.

[Review] Neal's Yard Remedies Deliciously Ella Lovely Duo | Rose, Lime & Cucumber Facial Wash + Moisturiser
Yes, this has been long overdue and we have been enjoying both these wonderful duo from Neal's Yard Remedies Deliciously Ella for a while back since we last attended their enchanted event that morning here. We are talking about the Deliciously Ella Rose, Lime & Cucumber series of Facial Wash and Moisturiser. They are truly a wonder to use.
Deliciously Ella is a collaborative effort by Ella Mills, award-winning author and blogger (and proud cafe owner of The Mae Deli in London) and Neal's Yard Remedies, to bring forth a series of skincare range that go hand-in-hand with Ella's philosophies, as well as the brand - healthy, skin-friendly and totally wholesome products that make a difference to the skin, as much as how Ella advocates her healthy living by eating clean and responsibly. She revealed that roses, turmeric, blueberries, lime and cucumber are some of the ingredients she often used in her cooking, hence, she handpicked them to be the basis of the creation of this skincare range. The result? A truly hydrating and refreshing skincare products.

[Review] Sisley Paris | Phyto-Blanc Brightening Daily Defence Fluid SPF50 PA++++
High level pollution, UV radiation and free radicals impact our skin more than we realised, even more so if we are living in the urban areas. Environmental stresses of such will weaken our skin and this can cause dark spots, pigmentation and uneven complexion over time. We have to confess, we have always dreaded putting on sun block due to its thick consistency and stickiness, some even leave traces of white patches on the skin. Our dark spots and pigmentation was developed way back when we trained for our tennis competition during our university days, right under the scorching hot sun! Believe it or not, we never slathered on any trace of sun protection (yucks!). Thinking back, it was way too gullible of us not knowing better.
Today, we would love to take some time to share with you one sunscreen protection we have come to love of late, a lot. It would be this one from Sisley Paris, the Phyto-Blanc Brightening Daily Defence Fluid SPF50 PA++++. It arrived together with another new surprise from this French brand previously.

SOS Skincare | Flawless & Luminous Skin For All
We had the opportunity to be invited to attend a brand new skincare launch some time back. It was one which is called SOS Skincare (Science On Skin). The place? Roost KL in Bangsar. Looking at the chic white simple packaging, it was already something interesting that got our interest piqued. We shall let our contributing writer, Nalini shares with you her experience of using the skincare range, shall we?
Hey y'all! Hope 2017 has been treating you well so far!
It is Nal and I am excited to be back yet again with another review. This time on skincare. Truth to be told, I am not for it, hardly ever used any type of skincare products besides the St. Ives Celanser or Scrub. So, when I got a hold of this new pair of SOS Skincare, I was rather intrigued to find out what it can do for my skin. I sampled the Cleanser+ and the Multivatimins+ for over a month.
For those who have not heard about the brand, it is not because you have been living under a cave. It is simply because it is the new kid on the block. Launched in December 2016, the Science On Skin (SOS) features three products to begin with - Cleanse+, Acne+ and Multivitamins+. Developed by French researchers, the SOS products are specially formulated for all types of Asian skin! SOS products differ from other over-the-counter beauty products, as its dermatologist-developed formulations boast of higher concentration of active ingredients that deliver multiple benefits to treat, rejuvenate and protect the skin from free radicals.
