[Review] Neal's Yard Remedies Deliciously Ella Lovely Duo | Rose, Lime & Cucumber Facial Wash + Moisturiser

Yes, this has been long overdue and we have been enjoying both these wonderful duo from Neal's Yard Remedies Deliciously Ella for a while back since we last attended their enchanted event that morning here. We are talking about the Deliciously Ella Rose, Lime & Cucumber series of Facial Wash and Moisturiser. They are truly a wonder to use.

Deliciously Ella is a collaborative effort by Ella Mills, award-winning author and blogger (and proud cafe owner of The Mae Deli in London) and Neal's Yard Remedies, to bring forth a series of skincare range that go hand-in-hand with Ella's philosophies, as well as the brand - healthy, skin-friendly and totally wholesome products that make a difference to the skin, as much as how Ella advocates her healthy living by eating clean and responsibly. She revealed that roses, turmeric, blueberries, lime and cucumber are some of the ingredients she often used in her cooking, hence, she handpicked them to be the basis of the creation of this skincare range. The result? A truly hydrating and refreshing skincare products.

Rose, Lime & Cucumber Facial Wash (100ml at MYR119)
Comes in a beautiful blue glass bottle with a pump, hands down, we absolutely love the combination of these three organic and natural ingredients (though rose is not our absolute favourite flower to be honest), somehow, the mixture gives this clear gel-like facial wash a very refreshingly light texture and zesty sort pick-me-up pleasant smell. It lathers nicely into a light foam and leaves the face feeling clean (lime essential oil for its astringent property), hydrated and cooling (cucumber extract). One can absolutely tell that the facial wash is packed full of natural goodness (high in anti-oxidant due to its blueberry ingredients). Suitable for all skin types, this gentle facial wash is definitely a winner in our book. We could not get enough of this beautiful wonder.

Rose, Lime & Cucumber Moisturiser (100ml at MYR179)
Similar vein to its hero partner, this moisturiser is infused with organic moisturising properties to leave skin hydrated, silky soft to the touch, with glowing skin over time. White in colour, its medium viscosity takes a little longer to absorb into our skin, nonetheless, did not feel heavy on the face and neck. It has a pleasant light smell of natural goodness all packed in a beautiful blue glass bottle. We do feel that the moisturiser keeps our skin hydrated. It also helps to keep skin away from daily environmental aggression and damage. May not be our most top favourite moisturiser in terms of lightweight texture department but does the work gorgeously nonetheless.
