Travel | Courtyard by Marriott Setia Alam | That Executive Treatment Part 2

This Courtyard by Marriott second property in Malaysia, Courtyard by Marriott Setia Alam (here for more) opened its door to Setia Alam residences and business travellers beyond this area with its 225-room offering is poised to give her guests the best treatment! The contemporary chic hotel played host to us over a weekend stay recently. We had a wonderful first encounter here.

Let's continue our wonderful journey, shall we? 

First off, we were led by Desmond Loke, Director of Sales & Marketing for a quick hotel tour that afternoon. First stop, the Pool and Sky Bar (pool bar) located on Level 12 (here for more). Prestine clear water, a blue blue long pool to match the clear blue sky, one gets to see the Setia Alam view at the edge of the pool. Early morning view can be very relaxing and cooling (we tried it the next morning before our breakfast). The Pool Bar is more than just spaces for recreation. It is a place for social interaction, casual relaxation and event space with scenic view of the mountains surrounding the nearby area. We believe night fall can be a view to behold, taking in the cool night breeze while enjoying some invigorating concoctions and gastro pub favourites. As for those who want to stay fit during their stay, the Fitness Centre is readily available for a quick workout. 

Now, our room. Executive Suite.

The rooms are all designed with exquisite style, comfort and functionality in mind. Upon arriving at our room, we were greeted with a coffee bar and side table on the right that had a lovely handwritten personal note for us! So sweet and thoughtful of the team. On the left is the wardrobe area, washroom with joined bath tub, which is linked to the bedroom. 

The living room is definitely spacious for family stay, fully equipped with an array of amenities including smart television, round multipurpose work desk, wireless charging ports and multiple USB charging outlets and high speed internet access - a place that you can unwind, relax or work if you wish to. 

The sofa is comfortable to chill and the bed will lull you into dream land at night, most surely.

Drawing inspiration from local and international fares, the hotel two dining venues (here for more) showcase a variety of gourmet offerings. Located in Level 2, 5 Wells is an all-day dining restaurant offering guests an elaborate buffet featuring International favourites and an ala carte menu in a casual dining environment with fresh, made to order options. During our visit, we were requested to dine in with their Chinese New Year sets as well as buffet, specially put together for the festive occasion. It was a remarkable spread of choices with new year inspired dishes, which were really delicious. We were spoilt to the brim, to say the least. 

The visit to the pool very early in the morning gave us a fresh new start the next day. Our swim and dip left the worries of our work all behind, almost like we hit a pause button on life, in exchange, we dived into another world of complete blissfulness and tranquility. Definitely a great "me time"! 

All in all, it was a truly enjoyable experience we had staying over at the Courtyard by Marriott Setia Alam. This new hotel has given us a whole new meaning to a 4-star experience - aptly put it, a class of its own.
