[Review] L'Occitane Immortelle 28 Day Divine Renewal Program

Some time last quarter of 2015, we had the pleasure to be invited to L'Occitane and Melvita luncheon (here) and were introduced to their new addition to the L'Occitane Divine anti-ageing face care collection created in 2009, the 28 Day Divine Renewal Program, a skin detox regime that harnesses the power of the rare yellow flower, Immortelle, harvested from Corsica, and specially created to work in tune with skin's natural renewal cycle. We were immediately intrigued by that whole notion and concept, one that embraces natural approach to achieving beautiful, renewed and youthful skin, one that L'Occitane as a French brand is extremely proud of, and one we have come to appreciate.

Holiday Series 2015 | L'Occitane x Pierre Hermé

A marriage of style and substance, a perfect union of the world of scent and the universe of taste, this is of course, like no other, indeed. We are, totally mesmerized by this unique collaboration between the founder of L'Occitane, Olivier Baussan and the "Picasso of Pastry", nicknamed by Vogue magazine, the pastry chef Pierre Hermé and close friend of Olivier for 20 years. 

The result of this close working relationship is one festive Christmas collection that ignites the senses, a line of cosmetics with delicate perfumes, as delicate as the balance of love for plants on one hand, and the tastes of an epicurean on the other. It is the tribute to the Corsican and Mediterranean landscapes, which both these talented artisans and creators love so much. We had the privilege to experience and savour such wondrous moments and sample some of the scents, while enjoying a perfect luncheon courtesy of L'Occitane and Melvita Malaysia previously. [Sneak Peek] Intimate Melvita & L'Occitane Christmas Preview

Christmas is a time for celebration, a time for giving and most of all, a time to enjoy each others' company and love. That was exactly what went down today at the Melvita and L'Occitane Malaysia's joint Christmas Lunch Date to reveal both these French brands' up-and-coming new launches and limited-edition gift sets for this coming Christmas season. 

The team of Melvita and L'Occitane Malaysia put quite some thoughts into putting together a lunch date at the exquisite Ciao Restaurant that was nothing short of impressively decorated set-up in a beautiful sort of French chic manner, where the Christmas vibe was totally in the air, from goodies and samples filled with glittery box sets, snow crystal Melvita globe right down to the specifically designed meals fitted to the theme of the day.

[Sneak Peek] L'Occitane & Melvita Luncheon

Last week it was quite a packed time for us, having some events lined up back-to-back, while juggling with a last-minute production confirmed with client, but no complaints as we were enjoying it to the brim, though a tad hectic. That's life of a modern career woman, right?

This time around, it was a wonderful luncheon, our very first L'Occitane and Melvita event, two-in-one, how fun is that, right? It was indeed. So, here's a quick sneak peek into our lovely time spent with both the French brands. We shall share more with you soon *_^
