Eclectic, contemporary and romantic, the air was filled with just that when we first arrived at KLCC for a sense of what Gucci is offering, with the brand's latest and new Gucci #GuiltyNotGuilty For Him and For Her. The replicate of a cinema setting set the tone for a short campaign film that we were about to watch that afternoon - one that starred Jared Leto together with two models, Julia Hafstrom and Vera Van Erp.
It was a succession of beautifully captured visuals of Venice, as the backdrop to the love story that the three characters are immersed in - sensual, almost free-spirited, they seem to indulge in a world that has no boundaries, that sense of freedom to celebrate each other's individuality and submitting to the whole notion that one can truly enjoy life's pleasures without feeling guilty. Unapologetically daring and open, and hedonistic, it is a concept which is fairly liberating, we feel. Watch the director' cut of the ad campaign video here if you are curious *_^
With this latest Gucci Guilty For Him and Her, the brand breaks the traditional make-up and ingredients for a male and female fragrance. Gucci Guilty For Her is defined by a signature Fougère accord of geranium, commonly used in men's scents, while at the heart of Gucci Guilty For Him the floral, sensual orange blossom doesn't conform to a classic male fragrance's notes. Intimate and magical lilac flower laced with amber in Gucci Guilty For Her radiates warmth and grace with a powerful lasting impression. Gucci Guilty For Him opens with invigorating lemon, and is intensified with seductive notes of lavender and patchouli.
We personally find Gucci Guilty For Her elicits a sense of adventure out of us whenever we put this new one on, it almost feels like a veil of mystery envelopes our body, whispering sexy notes of seductions, like a secret lover murmuring sweet words in the air, teasing every part of our senses, and awakening the women in us. Sweet yet full of character. Guilty of succumbing into the lust of the allure? Most definitely, but Not Guilty for just attempting to explore a whole new world that is beyond our wildest dream, and just being our true self. Gucci Guilty For Him blurs the line for us, almost making us feel that we could run the world with this one, yet mellowed down a tad, with a hint of feminine sensibility and emotions, a part of what being a woman is all about.
Definitely a string of freedom one would be able to feel with these new two scents by Gucci. Perhaps they would make a good Christmas gift?
