Yes, we are back and a happy new year 2014 to all! Hope you had a wonderful celebration counting down to the brand new year (which is already here *_^) and bid a good farewell to last year. It was indeed an exciting 2013 for us at LUMINNEJ, having just started back in July last year over at our old platform (here for more) and we are now blogging at this new one less than two months previously. Thanks for moving over with us. Hope it was not too much of a hassle.
Anyway, the one party we had missed last year (simply because I was so down with flu that I could not stop sneezing away!) was that fabulous party hosted by none other than the fantastic Elegantology founder and multi-talented fashion designer, Beatrice Looi, a name that is no stranger to the local fashion scene, as she has been passionately producing beautiful designs 30 years back! Yes, that was the party we missed (darn).
Anyway, thanks to Andrew, we have a great deal of pictures to share with you. Now I realized how much fun I had missed *_^ All pictures courtesy of A Fabulous 30 Beatrice Looi and her team. The celebration was held at The Square, Publika, just a stone throw away from the Elegantology Gallery & Restaurant. We absolutely love the makeup inspiration for the runway show that night! Aren't they lovely? Neon blue and yellow twiggy inspired eye makeup on the models (With a little artsy and modern twist), wicked ^_^
Above are LUMI's top THREE picks from the collection that night. Love that turquiose flowy long dress, so feminine, especially heart the front details on the chest. Oh so divine! We also favourite the second combo, edgy yet girly with the detailed peek-a-boo black top paired with a blue short. Now that's a way to flaunt those long legs (if you have them). Third piece, we just adore the intricate details and mixture of different textures! Amazing craftsmanship and design.
From the looks of the pictures (the guests, the celebrities and the awesome looking collection), it was most definitely a celebration in style!
