The only female founder of The Soloist Hair Salon, our official hair partner, Eewen Yap injects that feminine aspect to the business of hair, bringing a breath of fresh air and unique perspective to how hair styling should be interpreted. Always eager and ready to try new things, she impresses her customers and is adored by media friends with her creative hair work for photo shoots. Eewen believes, "you are greater than you know yourself to be, so just be great!" that is her motto in life. 

We had a chance to speak to her recently and picked her brain on one thing which is close to her heart now, the matters of the hair.

Introducing The Enigmatic Gucci Guilty For Her & For Him

Eclectic, contemporary and romantic, the air was filled with just that when we first arrived at KLCC for a sense of what Gucci is offering, with the brand's latest and new Gucci #GuiltyNotGuilty For Him and For Her. The replicate of a cinema setting set the tone for a short campaign film that we were about to watch that afternoon - one that starred Jared Leto together with two models, Julia Hafstrom and Vera Van Erp.

After 3 years of blogging at LUMINNEJ, a special invite came through one of our favourite PR agencies, Priority and it never crossed our mind that our very FIRST media trip could come from a long-standing beauty brand that needs no introduction by now. Yes, we are talking about OLAY and this time around, it was OLAY Singapore who made it all possible for us, truly as little did we know that we were about to embark on one of the greatest media trips of our blogging lifetime, to be precise *_^ There will be two parts to this post, one on the Olay media trip and the other, we feel, we would definitely want to include our most remarkable stay and experience over at the St. Regis Singapore (here for more), 5 star luxury, at its finest, truly!

[Inspiration | Musing] The Truth of The Matter

We tend to swing from mood to mood, life drags us along like herds of slave, slaves to our own crazy little wild mind, running along the streets of boredom, down the valley of mundane little act of sanity, trying to make sense of each and every little of our nuances, or reactions towards life.

The truth of the matter is, in fact, we can always turn things around. There is always a choice...

Today is one of those days, that we choose to move beyond our insanity, and try and re-capture that little specks of happiness, just by flipping our own mind over, to something more beautiful than what our eyes could see. 

Write yourself a love letter, plug into perhaps the kind of music that makes your head dance, and your heart skip a little soft beat, making you feel all alive, again, or just do whatever that makes you happy, even just for that brief moment. It is all worthwhile, after all, for we only have this one lifetime to live.

May as well make it count and live like there is no tomorrow!
