Once again, time is all we have to hold onto, yet it manages to slip away, and just let us be. 2016 left without a trace, 2017 announces her presence ever so softly and swiftly. Who would you like to be, in this brand new year? A better version of yourself perhaps? For us, one who hopes to grow wiser, learn more, discover more, love ourselves more and more each day, and pamper ourselves for we truly deserve it and own up to our small little achievements in life, no matter what they are. 

Scents of late brought us to many places we least expected it. We will continue to strive to seek beauty in life, and see the good that life has to offer us. [Review] The Lovely New Look of Innisfree Orchid Range

We had the pleasure to attend a beautifully put together event hosted by Innisfree Malaysia previously and was introduced to their new look to Innisfree existing Orchid skincare range. We have been meaning to review this since we had tried them out quite some time back. So today, we would love to share some of our thoughts and experience using some of the skincare products from this range, especially the new additions to the existing orchid family. 

There were 5 beauty products in the Innisfree Orchid range previously, this year, 3 new beauty products were introduced and added to the existing range, making it 8 in total. The 5 are Orchid Enriched Cream (MYR101/50ml here), Orchid Gel Cream (MYR101/50ml here), Orchid Intense Cream (MYR113/50ml here), Orchid Eye Cream (MYR101/30ml here) and Orchid Massage Cream (MYR73/80ml). The 3 new additions include Orchid Skin, Orchid Enriched Essence and Orchid Lotion.

Out of the 60 kinds of orchid native to Korea Jeju Island, AMORE PACIFIC research team picked the Jeju Cold Growing Orchid as the main ingredients for the range due to its exceptionally strong vitality to survive the harsh winters of the island, hence its hydrating and anti-aging properties.

Innisfree Eco-Handkerchief Campaign 2016 | Use A Hankie, Save The Earth, The Haenyeo Way

As a champion of natural and green living (from beauty products to green eating), Korean beauty brand from Jeju Island, Innisfree initiated their very first Eco-Handkerchief Campaign in 2010, to celebrate the brand's 10th anniversary and it has been a driving force annually, in conjunction with World Environment Day, to urge consumers like us, to make an effort to use more handkerchief, instead of facial tissues or paper napkins, which we are so accustomed to these days, in order to cultivate a more sustainable living and help make the earth a better place to live in.

Innisfree Orchid Beauty Affair | An Alluring Experience That Is Rare Yet Stunningly Captivating

When one receives a special delivery, a bouquet of fresh orchids mix at your door step, with a special invitation card, you could be sure that it most likely come from this lovely Korean brand called Innisfree Malaysia and you are most certain to expect to have a pleasant time soon. True to its brand's philosophy, the brand is here to bring the best of beauty experience to you and for you, we are humbled to be part of that wonderful experience, that very afternoon at The Forum, KL, recently.

The moment we set foot into the lovely high-ceiling space of the restaurant which was turned into something that looks like an indoor garden adorned with fresh purple orchids, the aroma of the wild orchid permeated the air and welcomed us almost immediately and set the tone and mood for the rest to come. Greeted warmly by the amazing PR team, HashtagCity and the lovely Innisfree Malaysia team, we were all gradually seated to begin our Orchid Beauty Affair for the day. 

[Review] Beautiful Innisfree Long Wear Cushion SPF50/PA+++

First thing first, we have to say that we have never own ANY types of cushion before this. We have tried samples of BB cream and never really gotten over the thickness of it, which we definitely are not a huge fan of, and we have not tried any CC cream either. So, when we were presented this infamous cushion by the Korean brand, Innisfree, we were a little apprehensive. Will this work on our combination skin? Is cushion that huge in Korea or even outside Korea and that great that we have to give this a try? Perhaps that was our pivotal moment. That little Innisfree Long Wear Cushion we received previously forever changed our mindset towards this little wonderful creation.

Innisfree Beauty Picnic - The Jeju Sparkling Mineral Experience

Green lush lawn, beautiful clean fresh air, serene and peaceful space to kick back and have a little picnic and good times while discovering what the latest range of Korean skincare has to offer to rejuvenate and hydrate? All these seemed too magical when we received the invitation from Innisfree Malaysia, as it came during the time when Malaysia was experiencing a horrendous hazy weather situation. We were worried, to say the least as having a really sensitive nose and allergy did not help to calm our nervous. Upon arriving on location, the prior worries immediately melted away, as we knew, the well thought-out set-up by the Innisfree Malaysia PR team was absolutely perfect for an indoor picnic scenario (yes, you heard us right *_^), as good as it could get, we felt - this was our very first indoor Innisfree Beauty Picnic! 

Nestled within the city, Organica Lifestyle (here for more), this health-focus eatery turned picnic location for the day is the perfect choice for this Saturday afternoon rendezvous. We were invited to a quick de-stress session with the owner upstairs, to relax and calm our body and mind, a great way to start off the session. What followed was a quick introduction to the brand by the Innisfree Malaysia Brand Manager, Johnny Nam and explanation about their latest range - Jeju Sparkling Mineral skincare line, a collection that mainly uses carbonic hot spring water (sparkling mineral water) from Jeju Sanbangsan Mountain, only available exclusively to Innisfree. This active ingredient provides deep hydration while the frizzy sparkling effect allows you to experience that hot-spring spa-like feel and its benefits right at home. Sounds awesome, right? Wait till you see what we were doing right after this! 

[Review] Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum

Part of the Dual-Functioning Whitening and Pore Line, Korean naturalism brand, Innisfree's Whitening Pore Synergy Serum is designed specifically just for that purpose - to brighten skin tone while treating pores concurrently to reveal a brighter, even and luminous skin. This very purpose itself got us super excited when we were presented this product from Innisfree Malaysia, some time back, to give it a go, as visibly enlarged pores and dark spots are two of our major skin concerns, for combination type skin like ours. 

The recent cosmetic study on Asian women by AmorePacific, the parent company of Innisfree demonstrated that there is a strong correlation between pore size and skin tone. The finding showed that enlarged pores bring about rough and uneven skin texture which eventually leads to a dull overall skin tone. For us, the dark spots were developed over time over the years as we were too naive to believe in the importance of sun care back in our university time when we were very active in outdoor sports under the scorching sun most of the time. 

Sneak Peek | All Things Beautiful With Innisfree

We had the pleasure to attend and experience a beauty picnic that was quite out of the ordinary, last weekend and we had so much fun that we could not help but to share a little sneak peek with you lovelies today. It was relaxing, calming and informative. This was also our very first event with the famous Korean skincare and makeup brand, Innisfree.

[Review] The Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum

We have always been a fan of green tea, Japanese green tea to be exact. These days, we drink a hot cup of green tea plus lemon grass before we head to bed. Green tea has been known for its anti-oxidant properties and health promoting qualities. Naturally, green tea infused skincare would be quite an appealing idea. We were delighted when we were presented by Innisfree Malaysia (here for more) to give one of their Green Tea skincare products a try some time back. 

Famous for its pristine fresh air, natural greens and organic farming, Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum is supposedly a part of the brand's 5-free system: free from parabens, synthetic colorants, mineral oil, animal-originated ingredients and imdazolidinyl urea (read more about it here if you are curious). That sounds awesome. This serum is actually the first step to your skincare, after your facial cleansing. It has as high as 75.9% Jeju Island green tea extract. This is a moisturizing serum with the organic Jeju green tea water and green tea seeds to hydrate your skin from within and what's best is that it is 100% squeezed green tea. Rich in amino acids and minerals, this sounds like one product that your skin will thank you for *_^
