Clé de Peau BEAUTÉ Spring/Summer 2015 base makeup is looking really enticing this time of the year. We fell in love with last season's Radiant Fluid Foundation (here for more) already. This season, Clé de Peau BEAUTÉ introduces, among others, two brand new products - Correcting Cream Veil and Sheer Fluid Veil. Both Correcting Cream Veil and Sheer Fluid Veil enhances the makeup with delicately light and deeply moisturizing texture, they smooth out onto skin to draw out its natural radiance. It enhances the longevity and look of the finishing, making bare skin looks extraordinary luminous. A better version of ourselves, why not, right?

Have you ever wondered what is our relationship with spaces and architectures around us? Do we inhabit that space which gives us inspiration or do we create a space that is inspiring to live or work in? We have always been very curious about design and architecture and we believe, human beings are naturally attracted to spaces, beautiful spaces especially. Don't we love to browse through pages and pages of interior design magazines, hoping that one day our own home space looks just like one from those pages? Well, we know we do *_^ 

NCC Danmark - Copenhagen/Denmark

Came across this beautiful company that does just that - creating stunning visuals of architecture that are breathtakingly captivating. According to the creative people at MIR, this is what they called Natural Visualisation. One of their principles in achieving this natural visualisation is natural lighting.  According to MIR, "A sensible relationship between light and shadow is the foundation of every Mir image. Architecture "becomes itself" when lit naturally". This is very intriguing.

[Review] NARS Jungle Red Nail Polish

After trying putting on NARS Shameless red (previously here) the last time, we think we have been bitten by the nail colour bug *_^ We have been experimenting manicure and pedicure since, on our own, trying to perfect our very basic skills. Guess what, as hard for us to admit as it is, we do find doing manicure quite therapeutic in some ways. Well, at least, it teaches us to be patient.

This time around, we also enlisted the help of a professional when we visited Sungai Petani, Kedah. Since it was close to the Christmas season last year, we had the nail salon do for us a Jungle Red (mixed with one ring finger of Shameless Red colour) and line the rim of our finger nails with a little golden glitter colour (just for the fun of it to get into the festive mood!). M.A.C Keepsakes Lip And Eye Bags Take Centre Stage

Lunch date aside with our fabulous friends at M.A.C Cosmetics Malaysia, the afternoon was a really surprising one as we know our long-time friend is super busy with her work, but this time around, she made time to not only present us with an early Christmas gift (yeah, it was last year *_^), but also introduced us to her fabulous team member, the makeup artist who not only works backstage at fashion shows around the region, but also the one who makes all girls' dream come true - stay pretty and fabulous, with M.A.C Cosmetics! It was great fun to catch up with the team after such a long time.

This is long overdue but we really would love to share these two special sets that we got, simply because they not only come in exclusively packed glitteringly beautiful dainty black and white pouch respectively (can double up as dinner pouch, actually), they also contain some of the loveliest makeup products that you can get your hands on (while stocks last, lovelies *_^)

It is always heartwarming to be loved and treasured by brands and thanks again, NARS Malaysia for the support! We are pleasantly surprised by the package that came through our mail few days back!

This week's work has been progressively coming in, and looks like we shall be getting busy, preparing for an outstation shoot. Hope we shall be able to squeeze in time for LUMINNEJ here.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Engraving Soiree With Jose Miguel

Do you know that if you own a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, the back of this prestigious piece of work (time piece to be exact *_^) can be even more artfully elevated by just engraving it with any designs of your choice? Basically whatever you can imagine, it is possible (only in the hands of a skillful master, though). Sounds exclusive? You bet! And that piece will be your one-and-only in the world, with your signature mark, forever sealed.

How wonderful, right? Therefore, you can imagine how absolutely delighted we were when we were sent an invitation to an Engraving Soiree by the Swiss Manufacturer. What's more exciting than to learn from the best, right? 

All right, the closest thing to engraving that we can think of that we have done was probably carving the watermelon! Ooops, that's carving, not engraving, true? Haha! Seriously, engraving has come a long way and they are tools that stood the test of time. Think TINY, think MINIATURE, think CRAFTSMANSHIP, think STEADY HANDS (most likely not us) and most of all, think PATIENCE (which we absolutely lacking) and YEARS OF PRACTICE! Yes, of course, with the help of the burins, chisels, files and hammers, an experienced engraver can create MIRACLES even with such tiny tools in his (or her) skillful hands. We are fortunate enough to meet one, from the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacturer itself, the master engraver, Mr. Jose Miguel.

[Sneak Peek] Spring Summer 2015 Makeup Is Looking Lovely

Just a quick check in and say hi to all of you lovelies. Some parts of the world are still blanketed with snow, others rainy and gloomy most part of the month (like where we are here in Malaysia) but we are gradually shifting gear soon in terms of seasons. An early peek into what spring and summer has to offer when it comes to makeup, shall we?

We are having our crush over some of these Spring/Summer 2015 makeup looks currently. Japanese brands are offering us something really sweet and girly. RMK goes with the idea of Vintage Sweet while Clé de Peau BEAUTÉ works on charming us with a fairytale like La Beauté Enchanteresse, enchanted beauty, with Amanda Seyfried fronting their Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.

Lunasol, a part of the Kanebo family introduces their 2015 Spring Collection with the theme Elegant Purification, which has always been what the brand has been fore fronting all along.

We shall share more about each collection in the near future. Also making us really curious is what other Non-Asian brands are serving up for this coming season. Waiting to find out real soon. Till then, have a beautiful week ahead, and oh, enjoy the number here, lovelies *_^

[Musing] Orange Kind Of Saturday

The sun announced its entrance with a great smile this Saturday, but not enough to make us leap right out of bed, not just yet, earlier this morning. Bed is like the aroma of coffee smell that pinned us right down to where we are, not able to escape, yet excited to savour it all and get going with things for the day.

That tug-of-war finally ended with a thought just came knocking in our half-asleep brain, "Wake up now! You have a hair-cut appointment". So, that's when reality kicks into full gear *_^

We love Saturdays for the fact that things could be carefree enough to put some time aside for ourselves (ME time), to do things (or not, perhaps if we don't really feel like it!). Such great luxury in life, we feel we need to appreciate as much as we can, for now.

We are not too sure what the future holds, but we do hope it's an exciting one, nonetheless.

Let's take each day as it comes along and go with the flow more, this is our new mantra for the year!   Happy happy Saturday and enjoy your weekend, lovelies *_^

Burberry Prorsum Menswear Autumn/Winter 2015

An exciting time is around the corner. Yes! Thanks Burberry for having LUMINNEJ to be a part of this well-received and highly anticipated event, yet again for the second time around, live streaming Burberry Prorsum Menswear Autumn/Winter 2015. We have started counting down to the live show, have you?

We see quite some flowery thematic design, on woven materials, rich in colours and textures. Looking forward to watching the runway show at the comfort of our home. It should be 9pm here by then.

[Inspiration] Style Crush: Shini Park of Park & Cube

Our relationship dates back to...hmm... perhaps two years back? Or perhaps longer. Even before LUMINNEJ came into existence, we have been reading (occasionally, on and off, we have to admit) about her adventures. Honestly, we were more obsessed with her lovely photography work. After a site revamp, we dropped off the radar for a while but since last year, we reconnected with her again. 

Of course, we write as if we know her personally, but in fact, we don't. It's just that sort of feeling, you know? When you read the blog, you love it so much that you feel as though you are part of that world, and some how, you kid yourself into thinking that, "Hey, we are good friends, right?". That beautiful world we fell in love with, way back, is Park & Cube by Shini Park.

Of late, what we love most, apart from the stunning visuals (of food, travel, objects, fashion), is her writing. She writes with a sense of humour that makes us smile. We love a woman who does not seem to take herself too seriously, and who seemingly does not intentionally draw a lot of attention towards her beauty, never realizing herself that, she is in fact, lovely. Quiet beauty indeed. Of course, let's not forget, the person behind those lens who captures the object of beauty of any fashion blogger, the person who holds the camera and compose those shots!
