Girls Just Want To Have Fun With NARS' Audacious Lipsticks

Let's just admit it, no "real" woman can resist a good lipstick (well, at least not us). It traces all the way back to those ancient days when colour dyes were used to just give a woman's pout her precious stain (which was quite lethal, to be exact). Some were crushed from gemstones (to apply as part of the face decoration), others from beeswax and the legend of lipstick began and it evolved over time. Today, it is easily available in tubes and comes in all shapes, sizes and designs! A little something that most women today can't live without *_^

To us, makeup is something fun and lipstick is no exception. Isn't it what Cyndi Lauper was singing all about in the early 80s? Girls Just Want To Have Fun! Lipstick is fun, when you can have all the choices and shades that you can choose from. That brings us to our latest love from NARS. To celebrate their humble beginning of only 12 unforgettable lipsticks collection 20 years ago, NARS Audacious were introduced recently (check out the fun we had at their party here).

Thanks to the lovely friends at NARS Malaysia, we were presented with two more shades from the Audacious range, to add to our existing collection of NARS lipsticks. Out of the whopping 40 shades, we got Annabella and Grace. Each Audacious lipstick comes in a sleek matte-black metallic casing, naps right back into its place easily with a magnetic closure. Snappy and easy. If one looks carefully, you can even spot that specially designed bullet with an embossed NARS logo.

Annabelle is a poppy red shade. Luxuriously pigmented, we love how smoothly it glides onto the lips with one swipe. Of course, with a strong lip, we usually re-apply a few more layers to seal in the intensity and richness.

Grace is a bright pink coral shade. It looks like shades of neon pink to us, initially in the tube. Very bright and cheery on our lips. Out of the two, we personally think Annabelle shade suits us slightly better *_^

Full-coverage finish and packed with nutrient rich ingredients, our lips feel soft and subtle even with long-hour wear. Does not feel dry or heavy on the lips.
