[Review] The Comforting RMK W Treatment Oil

Have you ever wondered what is missing in your skincare regiment? Have you ever thought of incorporating a facial oil into your daily routine to maximize your skin's potential for a supple, softer and firmer skin? We have recently discovered something that will do just that. By now, you would know that we super love this Japanese brand's coveted base makeup, but skincare? We feel they have really good ones but it is quite underrated. So, we have decided to give them a try and share with you our experience of using them. This is about RMK's W Treatment Oil. (Fruity and plants goodness!)

Sometimes it is not that your skincare products are not effective, at times, one just need that extra step to allow your skin to absorb the goodness of whatever skincare products you put on after more efficient. This is where this special and carefully blended natural ingredients of oil and fruits and plant extracts comes into play. This double-layered treatment oil consists of a skin-softening emollient oil layer, a drenching water-soluble formula, both abundant in nutrients to activate the skin. By using this treatment oil before one's usual skincare products (before toner, after your cleanser), it softens and regulates the blood circulation of the skin to enhance the penetration of skincare. It also works to strengthen the skin's barrier function, sealing and locking in the nutrients. The infusion of Baobab Oil and Argan Oil makes it perfect for massaging as well. Scented with a blend of 8 floral and citrus essential oils, including Orange and Neroli, it makes this one a relaxing treatment. It is your first step to skincare, after cleansing, in short.

Comes in a sturdy glass bottle, W Treatment Oil is luxuriously packaged. Shake well before use, it is a light oil texture formula that glides on the face effortlessly, without any feeling of greasiness. It gets absorbed into the skin within a short while. The best part we love most about this facial oil is its therapeutic feeling upon application. Our senses are instantly awaken by the refreshingly lovely scent of naturalness, very calming and enjoyable, with that citrusy scent. Super loving this aspect of the product. After more than a month of usage, we could feel that our skin are more calmed, relaxed and moisturized. Most definitely a great experience for us. Do check it out yourselves.

RMK W Treatment Oil, 50ml is retailed at MYR159 (GST included). Here for more about the product and here to discover more of the RMK brand. Thanks RMK Malaysia for the love. Hope your weekend was an awesome one, lovelies *_^

With love,
Jeann

  1. This product sounds just lovely. I think oil had gotten a bad reputation in the past but it's having a moment in skincare right now as there are so many kinds with all sorts of wonderful skin benefits. It's too hot for me to use an oil as part of my moisturizing treatments right now but I always wash my face with oil before cleanser every night and it's a step I can't imagine skipping.

To answer your question, we live about 5 minutes from the bridge and the walk across can take about 20 - 30 minutes depending on how fast/slow one walks. The heat usually isn't that bad and I don't mind dry heat. It's just gross when it's really humid. I have a friend who lives in Vancouver and she says it's gotten colder there during the winter in the last few years.

  2. Ahh, RM159 with GST included is not bad leh, I'll pick this up next year when I head back. I love facial oil, it helps my dry skin a lot and so far my favourite is Rodial Stemcell Super Food Facial Oil, it's seriously good on my skin.
