The association between woman and flowers, we believe is an innate sensual and feminine quality that has bonded thousands of years back in human civilisation. Today, one can never be not enthralled by their beauty and the wonders they bring. Your senses is immediately heightened by the natural scent of a flower, your breath is taken away by its sheer beauty in appearance, and your spirit and mood are instantly lifted just by having flowers around as decorations.
Of course, beauty industry has long been harnessing its power ever since humankind knew how. This is no exception to the Korean brand, Mamonde from Korea, which is part of the big AmorePacific beauty company. That morning, we were invited to witness the brand's imminent presence in Malaysia, to learn a little more about the brand and were indeed mesmerised by the wonderful world of flowers. Let's take a little visual tour with us, will you, lovelies?
Mamonde is a French word that means My World. So, we can say that Momonde is "My World to the world of beauty in flowers". Inspired by flowers, Momonde is a leading global beauty brand from Korea which offers a wide array of skincare and makeup products to suit today's modern women's needs. The products are fully imported and its price point ranges from MYR6 to MYR169. The brand will debut in Malaysia in August 2016 by having its first beauty counter in Aeon Bandar Utama.
The media launch preview was designed to give the members of the press and bloggers an immersive tour and experience. The Royale Chulan Hotel ballroom was transformed into a space filled with fresh flowers of all kinds, as well as areas for its beauty product exploration. First off, we were given a brief introduction to the brand, followed by a walk to the Mamonde Garden. The science of 5 key lowers and how their power, vitalising and healing properties are being harnessed and incorporated into the brand's line of products were explained in a detailed manner by the Mamonde Research and Development team from Korea.
Skincare products of Mamonde are designed based on their properties and functionality. For vitalising, the Honeysuckle and Evening Primrose are used. For moisturising and hydrating purposes, Damask Rose (rose water), Hibiscus, Narcissus and Peach Blossoms are selected and used. The Camelia is a resilient plant, therefore, it is the main key ingredient make up Mamonde's anti-aging line while Lotus Flower is incorporated for its cleansing and exfoliating efficacy. For brightening, Magnolia and Water Lily are used due to their medicinal and brightening values. Last but not least, for pore care and oil balancing, the Heartleaf Houttuynia and Sage are perfect for the regulation of sebum.
We tried out some of the beauty products and were super impressed by Mamonde's mist. Its makeup range looked equally fun and interesting. Will have to take a much closer look when the brand hit the store in next month *_^
We even had a flower arrangement quick session to wrap up the media launch preview, so everyone walked away happily with their own bouquet of fresh flowers! Such a lovely gesture.
