The Oh So Pretty Burberry Bloomsbury Girls

Burberry recently revealed its new Burberry Prorsum womenswear Autumn/Winter 2014 collection called The Bloomsbury Girls. The collection draws creative inspiration from the British decorative art of the Bloomsbury set and Charleston, the country home and meeting place for the writers, painters and intellectuals who formed the group. The show marks the start of a partnership with the Charleston Trust, on a project to help protect the creative and cultural heritage of Charleston for the public. We think this is truly awesome and meaningful!

As always, Burberry shows were liven up by live music where Burberry supports the local singers and entertainers in the advancement of their art form, which is totally cool, we feel. We especially love the soulful rugged end number performed live by the lovely Paloma Faith called Only Love Can Hurt Like This. (video below)

What caught our attention from this collection, apart from the distinctive fashion was also the makeup looks done by Wendy Rowe, using the new makeup line. The look, inspired by the Bloomsbury girl, is free-spirited and has that hand-painted mood of the ready-to-wear collection.

Eyes are painted with a dash of damson and aubergine shades to reflect the artist's brush strokes. Rose pink blended softly underneath the eye emphasizes the natural darkness. Lashes are left bare with naturally groomed brow. Lips are pink with soft definition and skin has a satin-matte finish with a tinge of freshness. All so  harmoniously blended in a quiet subtle way, which is very enigmatic, to a certain extend. Nails are in deep shades of elderberry, completing the whole Bloomsbury Girls look. PERFECT! We absolutely and totally are in love with these looks. The best part is, these runway looks can be so easily adapted into our daily makeup routines, don't you think so?

The celebrities also spotted with the latest makeup look. They look so divine, naturally.

Here's a highlight video of the Bloomsbury Girls show.
Check out the video below for the final number by Paloma Faith, for the full show, you can discover more here. All looks are readily available at the official Burberry website here. Enjoy your shopping!

Till our next rendezvous with our beloved brand, Burberry, have a beautiful Thursday and the rest of the week. Stay luminous and happy, always *_^
