XMAS 2016 Series | Dior 2016 Holiday Splendor Collection, Making A Golden Splash This Festive Season

First and foremost, there is a spoiler to this post, as much as we were super excited when we received this season's Dior 2016 Holiday Collection Splendor (here for more) quite some time back, but we didn't get around to photograph them proper yet, hence we never gotten around to try them all out until much later and by now, as we are penning this post, we discovered that some of the items within the collection has already sold out! Ouch, our apologies for not getting this one out much earlier. Nonetheless, in the spirit of Christmas coming right up real soon, we would still love to share just a quick one with you on our thoughts of this super lovely collection from our favourite beauty brand, Dior *_^

One can almost trust that this British Cologne brand will line up an exquisite occasion, like one here, for you if you were to receive an invitation from Jo Malone London. The recent Merry Michief in celebration of the coming Christmas this year was no exception. If you had followed LUMINNEJ for quite some time, you would know that Jo Malone London cologne is one of our top favourite colognes to wear (here and here). It never fail to amaze us with its concept of layering the scents to create a signature one for yourself.

We were pleasantly surprised when we found out quite some time back during our sneak preview of M.A.C Fall/Winter2106 trend that one of our favourite makeup brands has finally launched its cushion foundation! Yes, we were totally excited to check it out. So, today we would love to introduce you to just this, and another skincare product from M.A.C which we had the pleasure to try out previously here, but this one is an updated version of it. Hope you will enjoy, lovelies *_^ Yes, M.A.C has also recently refurbished its Pavilion KL boutique with a whole new facelift which to us, looked totally chic and cool, don't you think so? [Inspiration | Musing] That Conversation Which Found Its Rightful Place

When words seem scarce, and the mind seems to dwindle down to sheer dust that could blind your soul, the meaning of life drifted along a parallel universe that has decided to say goodbye to its wishful secret admirers, you came along like a breathe of fresh air from the ocean, with an open arm and a cute mind that she had no choice but to say yes. 

A great conversation asks for no obvious attention, it does not seek approval from its owners, the willing conversationists, it flows beneath still water, yet is always ready to stir up a current which can be mindfully intriguing, wilfully entertaining. It reads like your favourite book, turning the pages as you go along, effortlessly, totally absorbed in the moments of those words, for those are words and thoughts that speak the truth, from the very depth of one's heart and emotions, and can only be uttered if both parties are willing to be genuine in this form of exchange - the exchange of ideas, of visions, of being open for endless possibilities of just being oneself. 

A conversation with oneself at times, is just all we need, after all. Erratic at times, confusing in parts, but always a reflection of who we truly are, and most definitely an exploration and one step closer to understanding ourselves more and more.

The only female founder of The Soloist Hair Salon, our official hair partner, Eewen Yap injects that feminine aspect to the business of hair, bringing a breath of fresh air and unique perspective to how hair styling should be interpreted. Always eager and ready to try new things, she impresses her customers and is adored by media friends with her creative hair work for photo shoots. Introducing The Enigmatic Gucci Guilty For Her & For Him

Eclectic, contemporary and romantic, the air was filled with just that when we first arrived at KLCC for a sense of what Gucci is offering, with the brand's latest and new Gucci #GuiltyNotGuilty For Him and For Her. The replicate of a cinema setting set the tone for a short campaign film that we were about to watch that afternoon - one that starred Jared Leto together with two models, Julia Hafstrom and Vera Van Erp.

After 3 years of blogging at LUMINNEJ, a special invite came through one of our favourite PR agencies, Priority and it never crossed our mind that our very FIRST media trip could come from a long-standing beauty brand that needs no introduction by now. Yes, we are talking about OLAY and this time around, it was OLAY Singapore who made it all possible for us, truly as little did we know that we were about to embark on one of the greatest media trips of our blogging lifetime, to be precise *_^ There will be two parts to this post, one on the Olay media trip and the other, we feel, we would definitely want to include our most remarkable stay and experience over at the St. Regis Singapore (here for more), 5 star luxury, at its finest, truly!

[Inspiration | Musing] The Truth of The Matter

We tend to swing from mood to mood, life drags us along like herds of slave, slaves to our own crazy little wild mind, running along the streets of boredom, down the valley of mundane little act of sanity, trying to make sense of each and every little of our nuances, or reactions towards life.

The truth of the matter is, in fact, we can always turn things around. There is always a choice...

Today is one of those days, that we choose to move beyond our insanity, and try and re-capture that little specks of happiness, just by flipping our own mind over, to something more beautiful than what our eyes could see. 

Write yourself a love letter, plug into perhaps the kind of music that makes your head dance, and your heart skip a little soft beat, making you feel all alive, again, or just do whatever that makes you happy, even just for that brief moment. It is all worthwhile, after all, for we only have this one lifetime to live.

May as well make it count and live like there is no tomorrow!
