[Inspiration | Musing] The Faint Colours In The Dark

Love almost feels like taking a sip of your favourite coffee, the first sip tastes sweet, for some, after a few sips, it leaves you with that bitter sweet taste that is hard to shake off, no matter how much you desperately try to. Some have it lucky, love feels like the breath of fresh air, the cure that makes your seemingly black and white life instantly turn a little more colorful, a tad more interesting and exciting, perhaps?

Saturday brings with us the thoughts of a splash of colour, amongst the lack of it. Would life taste different with or without colour? Would you be bold enough to slide to the extreme end of things? Like chooses only to wear whites, or blacks, or you can never get by a day without colours for it will make you feel dull without any? Do you paint with colours in your mind, or do you see things in black and white, nothing in between, no grey areas?

How would you choose to see beauty in life, and love for that matter? Is love your kaleidoscope of colorful play toy that you see through everything or is it that quiet subdued solitude world of black and white you retreat into for deeper reflections and contemplations? We are most definitely balancing between both ends, not satisfied with living a life without the lures and wonders of colours, yet equally comfortable in hiding away underneath the blanket of colourless vacuum that is ever so attractive and alluring.

Whatever your choices are, would you still love me like you do? See you again, sugar *_^

With love,
Jeann

  3. Thanks for all these visual inspirations! Each image here is so captivating in it's own way. Lately I've been thinking going back to black and white photography which is how I learned in the first place. Your vision of something really changes if you try to see past the colors.

Have an inspiring new week Jeann!

    1. You are most welcomed, Rowena! I was immediately captivated by the visuals when I first saw them, so thought of putting them into a blog post. It's great that you actually started learning photography in black and white, I think that is really crucial in cementing and creating a good foundation! No wonder your photography skill is super awesome, my friend.

looking forward to see your black and white work soon! Have a great week ahead.

  4. I love the way you add the editorials, Jeann! Totally agree with you about finding a balance in between! I for my part can say that I wear black because my ideas and my life is colorful enough. ;D Though I'm slowly start to change it into the minimalistic way... Very inspiring writing and photos, dear!!
