The New JOICO LumiShine Hair Show | Brilliant Colours With Twice The Shine

We were first introduced to the brand, JOICO some time in 2014, by Shiseido here and found that its vibrant hair colour range and hair care series are an interesting array of products that help protect the hair with its latest technology. A division of Zotos, Inc., a Shiseido company, Joico launched its latest hair colouring range called LUMISHINE recently at Soju Sunway, Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa. LumiShine is a hair colour range that supposed to deliver brilliant colours with twice the shine. LumiShine Permanent Creme Color is perfect for permanent colouring with a reduced ammonia colour system. This colour system has over 50 shades and it gives healthy looking and consistent results when combined with the LumiShine Creme Developers.

M.A.C Trends SS16: All or Nothing Part 2

Having attended the M.A.C Trends Autumn/Winter 2016 presentation earlier today, it is high time for us to bid farewell to the Spring/Summer 2016 trends here today to make it official. Goodbye spring, hello summer, the trendy M.A.C way. We featured the SS16 trends in our previous first parter here, now let's dive into the remaining sub-trends from the two major ones - ALL or NOTHING.

ALL

Taking the highly crafted and creative idea of facial jewellery and adornment and translating it into makeup has gained traction since last season. A kooky lash, a naive liner, and out-there lip... These are tweaks of stylish eccentricity. Makeup is now viewed as an alternative form of accessories, as an extension of fashion more than a beautifying tool. These supremely confident statements project an attitude of beautiful contemporaneity - they are as simple as they are empathetically bold; jolts of kaleidoscopic colour in unexpected proportions worn against a simply prepared skin are singular, uncomplicated, free of pretence... and, importantly, playful and fun. "This isn't makeup that takes itself too seriously," explains Terry Barber. "It searches for an experimental, youthful and dynamic spirit that brings a beautiful and unexpected ornamentation to the face," agrees Lyne Desnoyers. "There is a real vibrancy to these looks... they're energetic." The sub-theme of the ALL theme we are sharing here today are Hot Cherry and Crayon.

[Inspiration | Musing] A Celebration of Small Things

More often than not, we are entangled by our immediate work at hand, we push ourselves on and on, without realising that we actually need a breather between the heaps of work, piled up over time. That was how we felt, over these couple of weeks, for our little space here. Time seems to be slipping away, ever so easily, almost like playing tricks on us. Overwhelmed we were, but as we pulled back a little and took a closer look, there were pockets of little delights that put a smile on our face.

For instance, over time, we made friends through our beloved social platform, instagram here. We found new friendships in places that we least expected, and finally meet these lovely women, in person, over time. Our connections with blogger friends from afar, give us that inspiration we much needed to keep our passion for writing and visuals alive, like the fuel to our soul, it uplifts and renews our interest, time and time again.

Finding and meeting creative people, from their respective fields, who are willing to share with us, very much openly, what pushes them ahead, to do what they do, everyday are some of the most fulfilling feeling we get, out of our blogging work here. Perhaps we all need to celebrate the ordinary, celebrate those small little moments that come our way, celebrate the simple things, in order for us to have a better perspective of our hectic life these days, one that we may be easily absorbed into and drown ourselves with. 

Let's celebrate the beauty in life and enjoy such moments. We are very certain, you would be able to find yours, if you slow down and take a little peek. For us here in this part of the world, it feels like summer all year round, as we have sunny weathers punctuate with occasional rain. SK Jewellery And Allove Diamond | The Perfect Match Is Now In Malaysia

Are you the light of my life? Do you sparkle with delight when you see me smile, from a distance away, across the room, watching you stealing glances at me? We were told it is a skincare and makeup primer and it is listed under the skincare category, after much research. So, we shall take a look at this new one from Dior as a makeup primer then, shall we?

The Lancôme Énergie De Vie Launch | An Energised Refreshing Afternoon

Bonjour! We first noticed Énergie De Vie this new range from the beautiful French brand, Lancôme was, yes, you guessed it right, over at Instagram (since we spent quite an amount of time there), and it instantly caught our eyes - that refreshing one-of-a-kind type of green, almost bursting with some sort of energy, as if it will spill over, right out of our mobile screen *_^ Not too long after, the universe answered our call. An invitation came from the Lancôme Malaysia team, requesting our presence at their media launch (we secretly danced a happy dance that day! haha). So, there we were, at the beautiful Greyhound Cafe, which had been turned into a lush green garden that very afternoon, and we knew, somehow, it would be an interesting day. 

Instantly, we had a crush on Lily Colins, her campaign ad for the range is amazingly beautiful, to us. We could not get our eyes off her here. The team quickly took us for a quick round tour, we have the product range corner, the music corner, the photo booth corner, a Lily Colin's look-alike-pose contest, as well as a green DIY corner, which would be revealed much later, we were told.

Trailing The Intense Notes of Jo Malone London Cologne Intense Dark Amber & Ginger Lily

Intensely rich, yet softly alluring, it captured our attention during our media preview previously, and it came back with us, for an extended stay and explorations thereafter. Perhaps it was its ability to send us to a faraway land of Japan, steeped within the steps of the temples, engrossed in the quiet but highly ritualised of a Kohdo ceremony, the Japanese art of incense appreciation, due to one of its rich ingredients - the rare Kyara wood. Other base notes include Leather, Sandalwood and Patchouli. Maybe it could be the more floral accents of its middle notes from an enriched Amber, Black Orchid, Water Lily, Jasmine and rose, illuminated by the clean sensuality of top notes from Black Cardamom, Ginger, Pink Pepper?

Time flew by so quickly and we have yet to share with you some of the little lovely makeup items we have been using of late from M.A.C Cosmetics. So here we are, a quick round up of them here today. If you had bumped into our blog some time back, you would have noticed that how much we have enjoyed the M.A.C Lightful C skincare range here. It is basically a skincare range that contains Marine-Bright Formula and Super-Duo Charged Water, for hydration and brightening effect. Life has brought us this far, not knowing everything in the world, completely to its core, but we do know a little more of ourselves each day, for we feel time is ticking away, ever so softly like writings on the wall, fading away with the erasing of each strokes of life, the changing of seasons, the arrival of the inevitable in life, as if trying so eagerly to prove that we are only so minute, like a speck of dust, insignificant in some ways, yet meaningful in so many ways.

We believe, we need to find our quiet moments, our happy place in life, no matter how small the crack may be, each passing day. We should not allow the walls of pressure come crashing upon us. Insanity breeds creativity yet hampers the pursue of pure happiness. Some our life line of happiness...

As this world grows more hectic, chaotic and busy, happy moments, for us, need to be accumulated, and treasured, almost as rare as capturing fire flies in the dark and keep them safe in a glass bottle, but only for that brief moment, for we will need to release them back, to the wilderness, to let them fly away, and let their light shine bright, as beauty in life are meant to be shared, never owned.
